February Farm Life - Rendering 120lbs of fresh Beef Tallow

Once a year - generally around the coldest days of the year - we render down our fresh beef tallow for the year, not just once, but twice! This process leaves us with a very clean, pure white finished product that is PERFECT for cooking or making natural apothecary items such as our staples, Whipped Tallow Balm, Lip Balm with fresh beeswax, candles, and Tallow Shampoo/Soap Bars!
